I know I haven’t been to many countries compared to others… yet! But so far, I do have some favorites! I absolutely fell in love with these countries and I hope that it inspires others to go visit too!
There are some countries that I loved visiting but don’t really care to go back… but these 5 countries, I definitely plan on going back!
Iceland – I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Iceland! I went back in 2016 and fell completely in love with the country. I really wish I could actually live there one day! HA. From the beautiful waterfalls, to the Northern Lights… there’s no shortage of amazing things to see and experience in Iceland.
Thailand – I lived in Thailand for a year… and it truly was one of the best years of my life! I loved everything about this beautiful country… except maybe the humidity. Thai people are incredibly nice and friendly! The food is absolutely AMAZING and super cheap! There are so many beautiful temples to visit… I believe in Chiang May alone… there are over 300! The outdoor markets are so much fun as well!
Singapore – Singapore is one of the richest countries in the world… so, be prepared to spend some money but where you can save is… going to the amazing street food stalls. Some of the best food that I’ve ever had and very affordable! Considered one of the safest and cleanest countries as well… great for solo travelers! A definite must is to visit the Supertree Grove and the Marina Bay Sands hotel as well!
Switzerland – I really, really want to go back to Switzerland… this time maybe in the winter so I can see everything covered in snow. There are so many beautiful mountains, waterfalls, lakes… Everything was like a beautiful photo.
South Korea – Okay, I may be a bit bias because I am Korean and my family is from South Korea… but it really is one of the most amazing countries in the world! Did you know they currently have the fastest internet speed?? Ha, fun fact huh? Anyway, that’s not the only reason why I love South Korea so much. There’s so many things to see and do. It’s also one of the most technologically advanced countries but you can also see a lot of preserved historic sites. It’s amazing to see the new and the old. Korean street food is, in my opinion, one of the bests in the world!
Let me know if you’ve been to any of these countries… and if they’re some of your favorites as well!
